Having drawn all of her favourite characters in unique dresses, Arete has long used fashion as a way to turn emotion into spectacle. Creating garments that feel less like clothing, and more like characters from worlds half-remembered, half-dreamed.

A true lover of Art Nouveau, Rococo, Vivienne Westwood and Grecian sculpture, Virtue Pop was created in defiance of fashion’s fast-moving trend cycle, exploring greek artisanship that is still alive. We are devoted to beauty, timeless silhouettes, corsetry, and proportions designed to transform the body into something dreamlike, cinematic, and unforgettable. At its heart is an invitation to return to wonder: to the part of ourselves that still believes in fantasy, storybooks, castles, constellations, and impossible beauty. Each piece is made to honour the individual, whether through custom-made or creating once-in-a-lifetime garments that allow the wearer to feel not only dressed, but entirely reimagined.

Everything on our website and inside our workshop in Athens, is exclusively made entirely by a two-people team, Arete and her mother.

Alongside her creative practice, Arete holds a Degree in Pattern Making for Garments.

We exclusively employ premium fabrics, such as silk, cotton satin, and brocade, selected for their durability and refined aesthetic. Our construction employs high-performance threads engineered to withstand significant stress without compromise, paired with steel or acrylic boning that ensures both comfort during extended wear and ease of maintenance. Each garment is hand-stitched with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in pieces designed to endure as cherished investments.
